SA: Indonesia, Australia and East Timor in terror talks
Foreign Affairs Minister HASSAN WIRAJUDA says Indonesia is keen to strengthen existingco-operation with Australia on anti-terrorism measures.
His statement follows a second round of tri-lateral talks in Adelaide with AustralianForeign Minister ALEXANDER DOWNER and the Foreign Minister of East Timor, JOSE RAMOS-HORTA.
Mr WIRAJUDA says security was an important issue for the three countries, in particularsecurity in south-east Asia and the Pacific region.
Mr WIRAJUDA says Indonesia wants to strengthen the existing mechanisms set out in amemorandum of understanding on counter-terrorism that it signed with Australia last year.
He has also congratulated Australia and East Timor for signing a similar agreement today.
