MURDER TRY ALLEGED 3 ALBANY MEN CLEARED IN ARBOR HILL SHOOTING.(Local)

Three city men have been cleared by a grand jury of attempted murder and other charges in connection with an Arbor Hill street corner shooting.

After about a dozen witnesses testified during several sessions, the grand jury declined on Tuesday

to indict Samuel G. Casell, 20, of 67 Thornton St.; Paul D. "Demus" Miller, 27, of 563 Clinton Ave.; and Michael A. Mitto, 21, of 537 First St., who is also known as "Half-Man."

They had been charged with attempted second-degree murder in the shooting of Mark Robinson, 24, as he stood at Northern Boulevard and Third Street on Sept. 6.
