Drivers take note: Your everyday commute to work can offer a crash course in incivility.
Every vagary of human nature can be found on the road: drivers who cut you off because they're mean or don't notice (and then have the gall to gesture rudely to you), those who are magnanimous to a fault and those who fault you because you are magnanimous. There are the mad, the kind and the oblivious. The seemingly crazy, the rushed, the litterbugs and the crusaders.
All operating within the Chevy-biosphere: that contained bubble of a car's interior that makes it all too easy for us to forget we're not the only people on the planet.
Experts say this insular environment does a good job of representing the limited way in which we see ourselves, a self-centered perception that may ultimately be the source of our less-than-beneficent tendencies.
