Vic: Money found stashed in donated clothing

A wad of cash has been found in a bundle of unwanted clothing .. donated to a Melbourne op shop.

Police think the money found at the St Vincent De Paul Society in suburban Malvern
.. has been hoarded by an elderly person .. and a relative's donated the clothing after
they've died or moved into a nursing home.

Police say they're expecting the phone to run red hot with people claiming the cash today.
